Dr. Jose F. Rodriguez Orengo is a Professor in the Department of Biochemistry of the School of Medicine of the University of Puerto Rico with more than 25 years of experience in higher education and scientific research. He has more than 70 peer reviewed publications (basic and clinical sciences). He is CEO and CSO of FDI Clinical Research center located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which conducts clinical trials from Phase 1 to Phase 3. He is also a Consultant to the Science and Technology Trust of Puerto Rico, which has created and developed six service and research laboratories with private, state and federal grants, with support from the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute of Justice of the United States.
